“ゆるふわ” な猫の日常を描くTVアニメ「まめねこ」が2018年1月よりスタートし、その主題歌をシンガーソングライターの瀬川あやかが担当することが発表された。

 

本作は、同名の人気コミックを原作に、やんちゃで姉御肌の「あずき(♀)」と食いしん坊でおっとりさんの「だいず(♂)」の2匹の猫が飼い主のおもしろ家族と暮らす日常を描いたアニメ。いたる所に笑いと癒しが散りばめられ、かわいいボケとツッコミが楽しめる内容だ。
監督とシリーズ構成をこれまでにも多くのFLASHアニメを手掛けてきた山本雄三氏が務め、アニメーション制作は山本氏が代表を務める制作集団キャラクションが担当する。

 

そして、その主題歌には猫好きとしても知られる瀬川あやかの未発表曲「MIKE」。まさに猫をモチーフにした歌詞の曲で、これまでライブで歌われながらもCDには未収録だった楽曲だ。今回、主題歌に決定したことを受けて新たに歌詞を書き下ろした部分もあり、生まれ変わった形で音源化される。
瀬川は現役看護師を続けながらアーティストとして活動する異色のシンガーソングライター。11月21日に4thシングル「カレイドスコープ」をリリースし、注目を集めている。

 

「まめねこ」は2018年1月よりTOKYO MXにて放送が開始される予定だ。
